Knights Templar, still at 1100 Harvard

1977

In September 1977 a Knights Templar commandery’s printed notices still gave its address plainly as 1100 Harvard. Four decades after the Masons supposedly left the corner, the address was still doing Masonic duty in the city’s newspapers. The building’s first life had the longest echo of any of them.
