Harvard House · 1979–2000
Fourteen homes
1985
The condominium declaration was filed in 1985: fourteen residences inside the 1930 structure, with the grounds expanded to add a gazebo courtyard. The building’s residential era, begun with the war workers of 1943, was now permanent.
The past kept its foothold to the last: Masonic meeting notices reading “In the Temple, 1100 Harvard” ran in the papers that same September. Fifty-five years in, the building was simultaneously a brand-new condominium and the oldest address in Heights Masonry.
